MSc Integrated Physiology in Health and Disease

This course – the only one of its kind in the UK – offered by the School of Biomedical Sciences promotes the importance of an integrated and multidisciplinary approach  to studying fundamental physiological aspects of human health and disease. This approach combines state-of-the-art physiological and metabolic methodologies with relevant molecular biology to answer questions of clinical relevance.

Weston Scholarship 2012-13

We are very pleased to be able to offer a Weston Scholarship for the MSc Integrated Physiology in Health and Disease Course for 2012-13.  This Scholarship can be used towards payment of the course tuition fees, and both HEU and Overseas students are eligible for the Award.  The Award will be made on Academic Merit and ALL applicants holding a Conditional or Unconditional offer to start the course in 2012-13 will be considered.

Please note that the deadline date for applications for the Weston Scholarship is 31st July 2012, and any students receiving offers after this date would not be eligible to apply for the Scholarship.  The successful student will be advised by 31st August 2012.

The Weston Scholarship can only be awarded for the A110 MSc Integrated Physiology in Health and Disease course starting in the academic year 2012-13.  It cannot be deferred for a later start date.  Therefore, the successful student must have fulfilled the conditions of the offer in order to register for the course in September 2012 and take up the Scholarship.

MSc Sports and Exercise Medicine

We contribute to the teaching on this exciting course run by the School of Clinical Sciences, which provides healthcare  professionals with knowledge and skills in the fields of sports medicine, exercise physiology, nutrition and the management of sports injuries and illnesses. From our academics, students learn the science that underpins the practice of sports medicine and exercise physiology.
