About the Division

The Divison consists of around 70 people including 16 academic staff members. We are currently located on two campuses across the University. The Environmental Sciences Section is based in the Biology Building on the University Park campus. The remainder of the Division is based at the Sutton Bonington campus.

Research

The Division has a very broad range of research interests from efforts to improve agricultural sustainability and food security to fundamental studies of environmental and ecosystem processes related to soil-water pollution and remediation. Please click here for further details.

Teaching 

The teaching in the Division of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences is undertaken by leading specialists in their subject areas and focuses on a diverse range of agri-environmental issues including climate change, sustainable soil and water management, environmental pollution, behavioural ecology and agricultural management and economic.
