Welcome to the Division of Nutritional Sciences
The Division of Nutritional Sciences has an interest in three key research areas, that includes nutrient-gene interactions, fetal programming, molecular nutrition, the nutritional and processing quality of animal and plant products, diet-health interactions in humans and physiology. We are engaged in internationally renowned research in collaboration with academic and industrial partners .
The Division hosts an active and lively series of seminars featuring external speakers, and internal series of Research Update and Ask the Experts sessions.
The Division offers the following undergraduate degrees:
BSc Nutrition, BSc Nutritional Biochemistry and BSc Nutrition and Food Science, all of which can be taken with European Studies.
Master of Nutrition is a 4-year integrated masters course that leads to registration as a dietitian.
The BSc Nutrition degree and the animal nutrition teaching that the Division contributes to the BSc Animal Science degree have received accreditation from the Association for Nutrition.
