Current Research

My research interests include the molecular genetic analysis of plant development, focusing on pollen and anther development. We are working on the Arabidopsis MALE STERILITY1 gene, is a critical sporophytic controlling factor for anther and pollen development and the Arabidopsis MS35/MYB26 gene, which is critical for anther dehiscence; to determine their roles in regulating transcription during specific stages of male gametogenesis and anther development.
