Welcome to the Centre for British Politics
The Centre was established in 2008 to promote high quality research on British politics; build a postgraduate community dedicated to developing new modes of understanding the subject; and encourage a better popular understanding of politics in Britain.
We welcome proposals to cooperate with networks, institutes and other research centres; and also encourage the participation of those who want to work with us, whether as potential students, visiting faculty, or collaborative researchers.

It will look at the diverse array of tasks that military forces have been called upon to conduct, ranging from military intervention to peacekeeping and from counter-terrorism to state re-construction.
