Welcome to the Centre for British Politics

The Centre was established in 2008 to promote high quality research on British politics, build a postgraduate community dedicated to developing new modes of understanding the subject, and encourage a better popular understanding of politics in Britain.  

We welcome proposals to cooperate with networks, institutes and other research centres, and also encourage the participation of those who want to work with us, whether as potential students, visiting faculty, or collaborative researchers.

Airpower workshop report

Postgraduate researchers from the School of Politics and International Relations report back on the first Nottingham postgraduate conference on security and conflict which they organised earlier this year.
