Nottingham sets sights on China's 'new' Hollywood for collaboration

Experts from The University of Nottingham are set to travel to China later this week to explore potential new international collaborations with the country's burgeoning film and television industries.

Culture Film and Media Studies: Tracy Potts Research Fellowship

Description
Tracey Potts has been awarded a Research Fellowship from the Leverhulme Trust a project titled 'Neither Use Nor Ornament: A Cultural Biography of Clutter and Procrastination'. The Trust have awarded £20,307 and the fellowship runs 1 Sept 2013 - 31 Jan 2014.

Culture Film and Media Studies: Book Publication

Description
Paul Gladston has pushed his book, 'Avant-Garde' Art Groups in China, 1979-1989 with Intellect/University of Chicago Press. The book, which addresses its subject with particular reference to the concerns of critical theory, is the outcome of a funded research project conducted in China between 2007 and 2010.
