Clinical Lecturer in Public Health, Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences
Bruce McKenzie was appointed as Clinical Lecturer in Public Health in August 2010, having obtained his MB ChB from University of Otago (New Zealand) in 1992. He trained in general medical practice in the UK (MRCGP, 1997) and continues an NHS service commitment as an Honorary Specialty Registrar in Public Health (MPH, University of Sheffield 2009). He is also qualified in medical informatics (DMI RCSEd, 2002) and has authored several books for Oxford University Press on medicine and the Internet.
Dr McKenzie lectures on the undergraduate BMedSci module A12PH2, 'Applied public health'. He is committed to completing the PGCHE.
