Research Summary

Karen Newell is currently employed as a Research Associate on the Medication Optimisation Strategy for ADHD in Childhood (MOSAIC) study. The role includes:

  • Assessment of current treatment practice for children with ADHD.
  • Collaboration with clinicians and carers to develop a consensus medication management protocol.
  • Organisation of a feasibility study to assess utility of the medication management protocol compared to standard treatment.

Prior research work includes working for the Division of Psychiatry as a Research Associate investigating the aetiology and ethnicity of schizophrenia and other psychoses.
