New RSC textbook edited by Dr Elena Bichoutskaia

New RSC textbook edited by Dr Elena Bichoutskaia

Description
A textbook titled 'Computational Nanoscience' has recently been published by the RSC and is edited by Dr Elena Bichoutskaia, Lecturer in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry, and EPSRC Career Acceleration Research Fellow in the School of Chemistry. Computational chemistry is a broad field that uses computers to model chemical and biological processes. The aim of this research is to predict and understand chemical behaviour at a fundamental level. The rapid increase in the power and speed of computers has made computational chemistry one of the fastest growing areas of chemistry, and it is exploited widely by industry.
