Biography

Benjamin joined the School of Economics as a Teaching Associate in September 2016 after recently completing a PhD in Behavioural Economics here at the University of Nottingham. Prior to that, he obtained a BA in Philosophy from Indiana University, an MA in Financial Economics from Izmir University of Economics, and an MSc in Behavioural Economics from the University of Nottingham.

Current Research

Benjamin's research interests are in the area of behavioural and experimental economics with a particular focus on social preferences. His research is concerned with inequality aversion, conditional cooperation, and punishment. One area of interest in his research is on cross cultural variation of social preferences. As such, he has experience conducting experiments both here at the University of Nottingham as well as abroad and online. He is a member of the Centre for Decision Research and Experimental Economics (CeDEx).
