Biography

Linda Ellison is an Associate Professor specialising in Educational Leadership. She has wide experience of developing and teaching on award-bearing CPD programmes. From 2005 to 2008 she was seconded to the University's Malaysia Campus as Director of Studies for the School of Education.

She is a member of the Centre for Research on Schools and Communities, with a particular interest in school leadership and teacher development.

She is joint series editor, with Brent Davies, of Routledge's School Leadership and Management series.

She is one of the Book Review Editors for the International Journal of Educational Management. Linda has worked with school leaders in a variety of countries including the UK, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand and the USA.

She has a number of research projects in the area of self-managing schools, school planning and leadership development and has published widely in academic and professional journals.
