Masters in Education (MA)

1 year full-time, 2 years part-time, Summer School, online

The Masters in Education is a unique modular and flexible programme designed to reflect the needs of individuals or organisational cohorts. This is an exciting opportunity for early career, and more experienced education professionals to engage in a programme of study that supports their professional development.

Course content.

As well as general teaching modules, students are able to study a range of specialist themes including:

  • Educational Leadership and Management
  • Higher Education
  • Human Relations
  • Learning, Technology and Education
  • Special Needs

Cohort applications

We welcome approaches from educational organisations who may wish to develop a bespoke cohort programme .

 

Education via Summer School

24 July - 10 August 2012

Summer School is an exciting opportunity to experience short intensive study blocks and gain credits towards a Masters qualification.

Entry Requirements 

  • a good first degree with at least second class honours
  • relevant experience    

Applicants whose first language is not English must, as a minimum, fulfill one of the following conditions:

  • IELTS 6.5 (no less than 6.0 in any element)
  • TOEFL 87 (no less than 21 in listening and writing, 22 in reading and 23 in speaking)

  

To ensure your application is considered in time for a specific semester or for Summer School, please note the following deadlines apply:

1 September for Autumn semester
1 December for Spring semester
1 July for Summer School

When applying, please ensure you select the correct course and do not apply for the MA in Education (flexible).
