Expertise Summary

Chantelle Niblock runs a Diploma studio in 'Digital Architecture and Fabrication', with a focus on developing a digital design methodology and innovative facade design. Chantelle is in the submission stage of a PhD, sponsored by AHRC. The doctoral research uses a comparative study between expert and novice architects to investigate the influence of computing on a designer's problem solving activity.

Research/teaching interest lies in design thinking and utilisation of computing during architectural exploration.
