(i) Biomass (agricultyral and forest residues) pretreatment and upgrading to green chemicals. (ii) De-contamination of off service pressure-treated wood to recover fibers for value added products, (iii) Recovery and rejuvination of Copper-Chromium-Arsenate preservatives from off service pressure treated wood, (iii) Application of high voltage electro-discharge technology to mineralize persistant molecules in industrial wastewater, and controlling unwanted molecules in process streams, (iv) Environmental remediation, monitoring and management
