Dr Sarah Sharples to present at the 2nd "Celebrating Women in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine" event

Dr Sarah Sharples (Human Factors Research Group) is to give a special lecture at the 2nd "Celebrating Women in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine" event. The event has been organised by the University of Nottingham's Women in Science Engineering and Technology Group (WinSET) and will be held on 25th January 2012.

Seminar in user sourcing for transport - Jan 25th 2012

Description
Crowd Sourcing for Transport Seminar organised by the Human Factors Research Group (HFRG). This seminar will bring together a number of researchers and innovators working in the field of user generated data for transport. The seminar will explore the technical aspects of harnessing and visualising user sourced transport data, the human aspects of capturing and influencing transport behaviour and the transport experience, and the organisational and business challenges of utilising that data effectively.
