I lecture on core undergraduate modules in medieval literature, Beginnings of English (Yr 1) and Medieval Englishes (yr 2), as well as the Drama and Performance modules Introduction to Drama (yr 1) and Analysing Performance (yr 2).

I have also taught on Year Three and MA modules in medieval literature and am currently contributing to the School's outreach projects, including Accessing the Medieval and the Sutton Trust 2012 programmes.

Current Research

My research interests focus mainly on late medieval drama and especially on the corporeal experience created through performance. I am also interested in performance space, the intersections between drama and devotion, the performative aspects of late medieval poetry, and the relationship between text and body.

Future Research

I am currently developing a new project examining the spatial, conceptual, and experiential relationship between late medieval East Anglian lay piety and the region's distinctive drama, with the aim of capturing major grant-based funding.
