Seminars

Seminars are an important feature of the Centre's research programme. They reflect academic interests within the Centre and introduce our third year undergraduate students to a cross-section of UK research in genetics. The highlight of our seminar programme is the annual Ransom Lecture, which is delivered by an international figure whose work bridges the divide between fundamental research and medicine.

Our seminars are held on Wednesdays at 4.00pm in lecture theatre LT3 in the Medical School. After the seminar there is a reception with food and drinks in the foyer of the Biology Building or the Medical School. For further information or to meet an invited speaker, please contact Thorsten Allers .
