Visiting Scholarships

HRLC hosts annually a number of academics and graduate students from other universities as Visiting Scholars. Scholars are provided with a base and facilities to conduct their own human rights research. They are welcome to attend HRLC conferences, lectures and other activities during their stay.

Human Rights Defender Fellowships

HRLC can from time to time offer fellowships to human rights defenders to participate in the International Human Rights Law Short Course.

There are currently no HRD fellowships open for application.

Student Research Assistance Opportunities

HRLC offers University of Nottingham students a range of opportunities to gain practical research and project experience to complement their studies. Opportunities include project-led student research assistance and internships, group-based event organisation such as the Annual Student Human Rights Conference and the Human Rights Film Series, or ad-hoc event support.
