Student Research Opportunities 2009-2010

8th September 2009

The Human Rights Law Centre enjoys and encourages the participation of students in its work, and aims to provide students with practical experience and exposure to the human rights field: in 2009, over 30 students worked with the Centre.

HRLC offers various opportunities for interested LLM/Masters and PhD students to carry out research on projects and support the Centre's events.

This year, student research assistant positions are available for the following HRLC projects:

  • National Reports on the Promotion and Protection of Fundamental Human Rights for the EU Fundamental Rights Agency (FRALEX)
  • New Technologies and Human Rights
  • Security and Human Rights
  • ICC Database of Implementing Legislation
  • Student Activities (Human Rights Film Series and Annual Student Conference)
  • HRLC Publications: Human Rights Law Review and Yearbook of the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture
  • Support to HRLC Co-Director
  • Event, Conference and Course Support

Complete details of the current research and support opportunities and information on the application process can be found on the Current Opportunities page in the Student Activities section.
