Recent Publications

Currently I teach the modules Introduction to the Medieval World and Learning History. Introduction to the Medieval World is an introduction to themes and methodologies that historians deal with in the period 500-1500. Learning History is a practical approach to historians work and debate and analysis in History as a discipline.

Current Research

My current research is focused on the study of space distribution in the Medieval Jewish quarter of Barcelona (Spain). This is centered in the late 14th Century and intends to determine patterns of social and political organization within the living area of the Jewish community.

Past Research

Most of my research has been centered on the social and economic life of the Jewish community of Barcelona in the second half of the 14th Century. This has mainly used notarial records of the city of Barcelona archives.
