Description

The University's postgraduate open day provides the opportunity to:

  • see the Department
  • meet the admissions officer
  • see the campus 
  • attend presentations
  • find out information about what it's like to be a postgraduate student
  • find out information about ways to fund postgraduate study.

Archaeology

2.00 - 4.00pm: Drop-in session: with Professor Andrew Poulter (A49 Archaeology and Classics Building).

Art History

2.00 - 3.00pm: Drop-in session: with Dr Anna Lovatt and Dr Mark Rawlinson (A1, Art History, Lakeside Arts Centre).

Classics

2.00 - 4.00pm: Drop-in session: with Dr Kostas Vlassopoulos (C4, Archaeology and Classics Building, University Park).

Music

2.00 - 4.00pm: Talk: An Introduction to Postgraduate Courses in Music. A selection of research papers from current Postgraduate students will be available. Meet informally with staff and students. (Endsleigh Room, Department of Music). 

Philosophy

1.00 - 2.00pm: Meet staff and students over a buffet lunch (  C7, Trent Building)
2.30 - 4.00pm: Drop-in session with Dr Andy Fisher, Lecturer in Philosophy (A203 (near the Great Hall), Trent Building)

Theology and Religious Studies

1.00 - 2.00pm: Meet staff and students over a buffet lunch (Highfield House, University Park)
2.10 - 3.00pm: Drop-in session: with Dr Roland Deines, Professor in New Testament (B9, Highfield House, University Park)
2.40 - 3.00pm: MA in Systematic and Philosophical Theology and MA in Church History by Distance Learning: a presentation on flexible graduate study - presented by Dr Tom O'Loughlin, Professor of Historical Theology (B38a, Trent Building)
