As applied psychologists, the scientific study of people, work and organisations is our core business. We explore individual and systems-level (environmental/organisational) antecedents and consequences of health and illness, health-related and work-related behaviour.
We aim to make a significant impact on scientific debate, on government policy and on real-world practice. We work closely with professional and practitioner communities, in both private and public sectors, to turn the knowledge we develop into practical applications.
We firmly believe in a multi-disciplinary and international approach to research, and welcome enquiries from academics, policy-makers, professionals and practitioners wishing to engage in partnerships with us. Please contact the Institute’s Director of Research, Professor Kavita Vedhara with any enquiries.
Interested in studying for a PhD with us? The Institute has a thriving postgraduate community, with over 30 PhD students. Find out more about our Research Degrees.
