The University of Nottingham offers a comprehensive and expanding range of scholarships in order to encourage academic excellence, aid diversity, develop relationships with sponsors and offer real financial assistance in cases of hardship, whether individually or by region.
Most of our scholarships below are competitive, with only a limited number available. The successful applicants for these scholarships will be chosen by a panel of University staff and notified by email after the closing dates.
Before applying for our competitive scholarships you should have already applied for and obtained an offer to study at Nottingham for September 2010. Please note that applications for these scholarships cannot be considered after the closing dates.
Please see our scholarship FAQs for extra information on Competitive Scholarships.
We have a range of non-competitive scholarships which are available to all students who are eligible. Before applying for a non-competitive scholarship, you must have already obtained and firmly accepted your unconditional offer to study at Nottingham for September 2010. We would encourage you to apply by the given deadline, so that the scholarship can be included on your CAS certificate for visa purposes. If you are unable to apply by the deadline, you can apply once you have registered at the University. Details on how to apply after registration will be available in September 2010. If you have recently registered at the University and wish to apply for a non-competitive scholarship, please contact scholarship-assistant@nottingham.ac.uk
