Viva Success for Isobel Roele

Congratulations to Isobel Roele who successfully defended her thesis entitled “Evaluating Self-Defence Claims in the United Nations Collective Security System: Between Esotericism and Exploitation”, on 17 November 2009. The examiners were Professor Nigel White, Professor of Public International Law, University of Nottingham, and Professor Wade Mansell, University of Kent. Professor Paul Roberts, Professor of Criminal Jurisprudence, University of Nottingham chaired the Viva.

Isobel was previously a student on the Nottingham LLM programme, and is now a Lecturer at Cardiff Law School.
