Research

Research into all aspects of the medieval period is undertaken across the University, with a concentration in the Faculty of Arts.

There are medievalists in the Schools of English, History, and Modern Languages (including French, German and Slavonic studies), and the Departments of Archaeology, Art History, Classics, Music and Theology.

Individual researchers collaborate more widely, for instance with colleagues in the Institutes of Genetics, and Science and Society, and the Schools of Biosciences and Geography.
