Career Opportunities in Industry
The School of Pharmacy leads a ‘Roberts Money’ funded project, together with the Schools of Chemistry and Clinical Sciences. The aim of the project is to increase awareness of career opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry amongst postgraduate researchers and contract research staff. (A gap in the knowledge and understanding of such opportunities had been identified).
In order to address this, the School of Pharmacy runs an annual four day training course for Postgraduates and Contract Research Staff.
The course provides an opportunity for participants to find out about the wide range of careers on offer in the pharmaceutical industry, with advice on how to find, apply for and secure that dream job.
