Future Students

The University of Nottingham School of Politics and International Relations is a recognised centre of excellence in teaching, having achieved a perfect score of 24 out of 24 in the Quality Assurance Agency Subject Review.

A number of our staff have secured prizes for outstanding teaching.

We offer an extensive range of taught undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, as well as extensive opportunities for PhD-level study .

With more than 40 academic staff , the School is able to provide degrees across the areas of  International Relations, Government and Political Thought .

We offer a wide range of module choice within each degree programme, permitting students to specialise as they progress through their course. Wider interests can be catered for by our joint degree programmes such as History and Politics and Politics and American Studies.

The School hosts an impressive array of talks given by visiting speakers to which students are invited. This includes distinguished practitioners : practising politicians, journalists and policy-makers.
