Sir Francis Hill Scholarship
Number of awards available: 1
Value of award: Fee based on HEU level plus stipend
Eligibility: students who register for full time study on one of the School's PhD programmes to commence study in September 2012 and who meet any conditions set for admission to their course.

To be considered, applicants are required to have already submitted a full application to the university's online application system to include application, research proposal and 2 academic references and be in receipt of a letter from the University offering them a place on the School's PhD prgramme.
The Graduate School requires that the School nominates only one application to meet the deadline set.
Applications for the Sir Francis Hill Postgraduate Scholarship are to be sent to the School in the first instance and in order that we are able to meet the Graduate School deadline we will need to receive your application by Tuesday 1st May. Tomlinson MA Scholarships 2012-2013
Number available: 2
Value of award: £1000 reduction in fees at all fee levels
Eligibility: students who register for full and part-time study to commence in September 2012 and who meet any conditions set for admission to their course. Holders of the scholarships are required to write their dissertation on a subject related to the Asia-Pacific region, broadly defined to include Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia and South Asia.
To be considered, applicants must have received a formal offer of a place on one of the School's MA programmes and have submitted a side of A4 paper outlining details of their intended dissertation topic and a covering letter explaining why a Tomlinson Scholarship would be of particular benefit to them to Gail Evans (gail.evans@nottingham.ac.uk) at the School of Politics and International Relations, University of Nottingham by Monday 28th May 2012.
