Financial Support
Cost is always a concern for any business, however there are many funding schemes available which assist firms to employ bright and enthusiastic students and graduates.
Below is just a selection of the programmes available.
Knowledge Transfer Partnerships
Collaborative studentships
Collaborative studentships are funded by Research Councils and provide financial support for your firm to employ a PhD student to undertake a research project of your choosing. We provide academic support for the student, and they also have access to our facilities and resources.
Technology Strategy Board (TSB) Programme
This TSB programme usually involves several industrial and academic partners working together to develop a product or process which is beneficial to all. A typical programme will last between three and five years, and 50% of the costs are funded by the TSB.
Working with Nottingham University Business School through the vehicle of Knowledge Transfer Partnerships, has given us real business performance benefits. We are able to strategically use our resources to look after and build our customer base further. Our key work included: strategic planning, implementing marketing strategy, staff training / change management and resource realignment.
