Lecturer in Equine Surgery, Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences
Ceri Sherlock obtained her veterinary degree from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 2004. She then completed a 1 year rotating equine internship at Bell Equine Veterinary Clinic in Kent and remained there a further year as a junior hospital clinician. Ceri then traveled to the USA in 2006 where she embarked on a 3 year large animal surgery residency at the University of Georgia. Ceri stayed with the University of Georgia for a further 18 months as a Clinical Instructor in Large Animal Surgery during which time she obtained Diplomat status with the American College of Veterinary Surgeons and was awarded her Masters degree in Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences. Ceri joined the University of Nottingham as Lecturer in Equine Surgery in February 2011 and is based at Oakham Veterinary Hospital.
