Biography
Caroline obtained her Veterinary Degree from Glasgow University in 1993, and went straight into small animal practice. She moved to Nottingham in 1996, and spent 10 years in small animal practice, before starting work as a Facilitator at the University of Nottingham School of Veterinary Medicine and Science in January 2007. She graduated with a Masters in Medical Education in December 2010.
Caroline is a Facilitator for the regional Recent Graduate Support Scheme for recently qualified veterinary surgeons.
Expertise Summary
Caroline's main role is facilitating Clinical Relevance sessions, and has recently taken on responsibility for training new facilitators. Since December 2008, she has been co-convenor for the Personal and Professional Skills module for Years 1 and 2, producing teaching materials and facilitating small group sessions. She also teaches practical skills and communication skills.
Caroline has been involved in marking portfolios, coursework and other assessments. She is involved in the admissions process, marking UCAS questionnaires and interviewing potential students, and has also assisted in outreach work such as the Summer Schools.
