Lecturer in Veterinary Science - Learning and Assessment, Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences
Kate Cobb qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 1996 with a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary medicine and is a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. She later completed a PGCE in secondary science education. She has worked in first opinion small animal veterinary practice and secondary education teaching science to 11-19 year olds. Kate joined SVMS at the University of Nottingham in 2006, her responsibilities have included design and delivery of the preliminary year course and teaching on the five year course.
Kate Cobb is a lecturer in teaching learning and assessment, her role involves curriculum review and evaluation of the assessment strategy. She completed a masters in medical education in 2010 and is currently working towards a PhD in the educational impact of assessment.
