Biography

I Began my Veterinary career in 2000 working as a trainee veterinary nurse at a small animal practice in ilkeston derbyshire, I trained with a combination of on the job portfolio work and regular block release to Myerscough agricultural college. I gained my NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Veterinary nursing and was officially placed on the list of RCVS Veterinary nurses in 2004.

Since then I have worked at various small animal practice including a small orthopeadic and soft tissue refferal centre, where I was head Veterinary nurse.

I have only recently joined the school of Veterinary medicine and science in 2010.

Expertise Summary

Phil is a teaching technician in the dissection and surgery department and assists in the preparation and storage of teaching specimens. Also I am available during lessons to help students with any queries they may have and maintain the safe running of the dissection lessons.
