Modules Unable to be Taken Overseas

Biology	All Biology modules	For those students not on an exchange programme, permission must be sought from the School
CELE	Foundation modules for programmes N180, P980 and L990	Check with School
Chemical & Environmental Engineering	All H8 and J1 modules	At the discretion of the head of department
Chemistry	F1 modules	Need to seek permission from the School before applying to sit exams overseas.
Classics	All Q8 Modules
Civil Engineering	H2 modules	All H2 Level 1, 2, 3 and 4 modules can only be taken overseas at the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus, Ningbo Campus and Kuala Lumpur Teaching Centre. H2 Level modules which are part of the NGI MSc Courses can be taken in other places overseas but only by part-time students.
Computer Science	G52IFR, G52IRB, G53ARB, G54PRG, G64DBS, G64ICP
Cultures, Language & Area Studies	All modules	Need to seek permission from the school before applying to sit exams overseas.
Electrical & Electronic Engineering	H61ICP, H61LSM, H62SED, H64HDL, H64SCD, H64HDP, H64HPP, H64HPL	Students may sit these modules at the Malaysian Campus only.

Graduate Entry Medicine & Health	All modules
History	All V1 Modules
Language Centre	All LK modules	Please seek permission from the Language Centre before applying to sit exams overseas.
Medical Course Exams	A10, A11, A12, A13 and A14 modules
Mechanical, Materials & Manufacturing Engineering	All modules administered by the department	Students may sit these exams at Ningbo and Malaysia Campusus.
Molecular Medical Sciences	All modules administrated by the department
Music	All W3 modules
Pharmacy	All B3 and D10 modules	Students may sit these modules at the Malaysian Campus only if the timing coincides with the UK sitting.  If this is not possible, you will be required to return to the UK. Any students who have exams scheduled at 4.30pm (UK time) will not be permitted to sit their exams overseas.
Sociology & Social Policy	All L3 modules
