New full-time students are required to confirm their attendance in person as part of the registration process.
The majority of new full-time students will attend an event at the David Ross Sports Village, University Park (building number 34 on the University Park map), during the first week of term. Please see the 2017 Event Timetable and atttend at the time indicated for your School (or the lead School if you are on a joint honours course). International students who register with the University during the Welcome Programme do not need to confirm their attendance again at the central registration event.
To confirm your attendance at the University, you will be asked to provide your name, date of birth and your student ID number (if known). There will also be an opportunity to meet staff from the Tuition Fees team and the International Office who will be able to tell you about the services they provide and answer your queries.
Admissions and Student Services staff will also be on hand to take evidence of conditions of entry being met and to deal with course related queries. If there are conditions attached to your offer of a place at the University, you must provide evidence that these have been met before your registration can be confirmed. Preferably, you should send your evidence to the Admissions
Office before arriving at the University. Alternatively, new full-time students should bring evidence when they confirm their attendance in person. New part-time students should contact the Admissions Office to make alternative arrangements.
LATE REGISTRATION - If you have not been able to attend in person registration at your allocated slot you can complete your registration at one of our Student Service Centres.
If you expect to register but are anxious about meeting the deadline please speak to Student Services staff in the Services Centres
