Individual requirements
If you have any specific requirements for your accommodation, be they medical, religious or single sex preferences, all you need to do is let us know.
Medical conditions
You may be asked to provide written supporting documentation with your application if you have a medical condition.
Accessibility requirements
If you have a disability or access requirements, we will guarantee you a suitable room in University-arranged accommodation for the duration of your studies.
Single sex preferences
All of our sites are for mixed sex occupancy, but we have a limited amount of single sex area accommodation which we will endeavour to assist with on request.
Applying with individual requirements
• In your application form, please provide full details of your requirements in section 1 if you have a disability, and in section 2 if you have other requirements. Forms are available online, in hard copy and in alternative formats.
• If we think anything on your form needs further discussion we will contact you. We will then allocate an appropriate room for you and make any adjustments required. This may involve you arriving early but we will let you know.
• The deadline for securing a guarantee is 1 August 2012. If you are late, the necessary adjustments may be delayed, but we will make sure these are done within a reasonable time frame.
• If selecting a suitable room presents additional costs to you please contact your Local Authority to find out what financial support may be available
