The Aerospace Technology Centre was officially opened by John Rishton, CEO Rolls-Royce plc and a Nottingham graduate on 26th October 2012

The Aerospace Technology Centre (ATC) is a dedicated research and knowledge transfer centre on University of Nottingham Innovation Park (UNIP), adjacent to Jubilee Campus. The 1800m2 facility provides:
unique facilities for application-focused research (TRL 4-6)
support application-focused, integrated research at a size & complexity not possible within any other UK institution
house multi-disciplinary projects that build on our world-leading fundamental research
provide space for large-scale demonstrators
strengthen relationships with industry partners
support integrated projects that evolve towards large-scale demonstrators

We are currently commissioning the first projects to occupy the building (more details available soon) but continue to invite suggestions and proposals from academic leaders and industry partners to populate the facility.
