With less than six weeks to go, the countdown to the Rio Olympic Games is well underway. As the Olympic torch winds its way closer to the iconic city, we’re taking a look at the talented alumni who are hoping to bring home medals this summer. Nottingham has a strong tradition of sporting excellence – and it’s thanks to donations to our coaching and scholarship funds from alumni like you that our athletes have been helped on their way to Rio. The history of student life: riots, revelry and rights


Over 900 years of history, British students have participated in an active and lively student life. From pranks and revelry to political activism, the activities engaged in by Britain’s scholars have helped to shape Britain in myriad ways.
