Visiting Speakers

Attracting a strong list of visiting speakers has always been part of the Department’s intellectual rationale. As well as providing a key forum for intellectual exchange, the programme also serves to allow postgraduate students to listen to – and interrogate – leading figures from the fields of American and Canadian Studies. In putting together each year’s programme we look to invite a range of speakers that speak to various aspects of the Department’s work.
