UARC have successfully nurtured a relationship with AOC Archaeology, a leading archaeological contractor, so as to facilitate the effective inclusion of a range of post-excavation options into our existing portfolio of underwater archaeological services. AOC's professional standing in the range of services provided to developers for archaeology on dry land effectively integrates and supports the requirements of archaeological and heritage underwater investigations.

The underwater services provided include:

		Advice on the management of maritime, freshwater and waterlogged sites.
		Desk-based assessments and historical research.
		Freshwater and marine site evaluations.
		Environmental impact statements.
		In -situ preservation, environmental monitoring and sampling.
		Pre-disturbance surveys including the construction of 3D digital terrain models.
		Underwater excavation.

Post-excavation services include:

	Conservation of waterlogged artefacts and material.
	Environmental analysis of waterlogged deposits.
	Specialist analysis and dating of waterlogged wood.
	Wet and low temperature passive storage.
	Vacuum freeze-drying.
	Dendrochronology.
