Postgraduate masters degrees

Why undertake postgraduate study?

There are many motivations for undertaking postgraduate study. For some it is the specialisation of a particular topic encountered at undergraduate level, or for preparation for a career in academia. For others it is the desire for professional development, either as a continuation of previous study or current career, or to enab le to change career focus. Whatever the reason, studying at masters-level enhances critical thinking skills and subject knowledge, and allows for further positive differentiation of abilities sought after by employers.

Current students and alumni talk about their experiences of masters-level study.
