Reeze is from the Philippines. Before starting her PhD under the Ford Foundation International Fellowships Program, she worked with the Rice Chemistry and Food Science division (RCFS) of the Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice), with the Grain Quality, Nutrition and Postharvest Center (GQNPC) of the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), and with the School of Agriculture, Food and Wine of the University of Adelaide, Australia for the study on iron (Fe) and zinc (Zn) in rice under the HarvestPlus program of the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), Washington D.C., U.S.A. Her PhD project is on the quantification of folates in rice tissues using the liquid chromatography-electrospray ionisation tandem mass spectrometry technique.
