Research can be undertaken either on a contract basis to meet the specific needs of your organisation, or on a collaborative basis, accessing public funding, often as part of a wider consortium of interested parties. We can also accommodate short pieces of more routine work where access to specialised equipment is required.

There are a number of routes to help fund your research. One of the ways in which we share expertise is through the Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) which helps businesses improve their competitiveness and productivity through the better use of knowledge, technology and skills.

Summer School Students

 

The Summer School in Food Sciences aims to raise awareness of the opportunities available to young people in the food industry.

You can help to inspire the next generation of food and plant scientists by sponsoring a participant to attend one of our Summer Schools or taking part in the programme delivery.
