Histology Facilities
The Histology Facility is situated within the South Laboratory Building.
This area contains automated tissue processing facilities, various microtomes (including cryostat and ultramicrotome) along with image capture and image analysis. In addition to bright field micoscopes this area has two fluorescent microscope systems with image analysis.
Staff for this area are skilled in a variety of techniques including histochemistry, immunohistology, enzyme histochemistry, in situ hybridisation and other techniques.
