Postgraduate Research Degrees

The Division of Animal Sciences has a thriving community of postgraduate research students, both national and international. Current students are from countries as diverse as the UK, Poland, China, Korea, Oman, Thailand and India. All students are provided with their own desk and computer with internet access. Students work in a range of multi-user laboratories with access to state-of-the-art equipment, and are trained in a variety of techniques.
The Division runs seminars and Journal Clubs for research students, and students are encouraged to present their research at national and international conferences.

All students attend training courses organised by the University's Graduate School and an independent Assessor is appointed for each student.
