If you are a teacher and have a question about Biosciences or require material to assist your teaching then please contact the Biosciences Outreach Co-ordinator.
Staff in the School of Biosciences also act as Mentors for schools undertaking CREST Award projects.
Undergraduate Ambassador Scheme
The Undergraduate Ambassador Scheme offers final-year undergraduates the opportunity to complete placements in local schools, promoting their subject and encouraging students to choose to study science further.
Ambassadors spend about one day per week in a school for around 10 weeks, assisting with a variety of science classes and preparing and delivering some teaching materials. The placements can be in secondary or primary schools or in FE colleges. If you are interested in hosting a Student Ambassador, contact the UAS coordinator: martin.broadley@nottingham.ac.uk
