School of Biosciences Awards & Funding
Bursaries for HEU students
A limited number of bursaries, to the value of £2,000 each are available to HEU students who apply for MSc courses within the School of Biosciences. Criteria and application form.
Scholarships for international students
The School of Biosciences offers two partial scholarships to provide assistance to international students to study the MSc course in Sustainable Bioenergy at The University of Nottingham. More details on this page.
Other sources
Funding may also be available from the British Council or from the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission, which offers awards to applicants from developing countries.
Career Development Loans for UK applicants
These are usually available nationally through a partnership arrangement with the DfEE and Barclays, Clydesdale, and Co-Operative banks and the Royal Bank of Scotland.
