Study Abroad

The School of Biosciences offers a wide variety of international programmes. Depending on your subject, you can apply to spend one semester or a year abroad as part of a standard three year degree programme, or choose to apply to the International Year and spend an additional year in Europe as part of a four year programme. It’s even possible to combine more than one study abroad programme within your degree.

Research has shown that graduates who have had an international experience are more likely to earn more, have better career prospects and achieve higher degree outcomes, as well enabling you to engage with the global nature of your degree subject.
