The Centre for Risk, Banking and Financial Services (CRBFS) is an inclusive, collaborative research centre based at Nottingham University Business School.

Our aim is to

  • produce world-leading research
  • work with leading corporations and institutions to advance knowledge and understanding of risk, banking and financial services matters
  • provide an insight and commentary focused on financial services consumers and institutions 
  • provide clear analysis of bank structure and performance issues, including methodological advancements and commentary on regulatory changes
  • provide an  examination and scrutiny of risk and risk management issues widely defined to cover all sectors and areas of risk
  • advance the study of risk theory

CRBFS is affiliated to The Centre for Islamic Business and Finance Research based at the University of Nottingham in Malaysia.
